‘Last few days…’: Star shuttler PV Sindhu recounts Dubai horror as she reaches home safely

India’s star shuttler PV Sindhu has safely returned home after being stranded at Dubai International Airport on Wednesday, due to flight suspensions amid the ongoing Israel-Iran conflict.
Taking to X (formerly Twitter), Sindhu confirmed her safe arrival in Bengaluru.
“Back home in Bangalore and safe. The last few days have been intense and uncertain, but I’m truly grateful to be back at my house,” she wrote.
The two-time Olympic medallist, Sindhu, was travelling to the United Kingdom to compete in the All England Open Badminton Championships when she was stranded in Dubai, which was her transit spot.
Sindhu also expressed gratitude to the Dubai authorities, airport staff, and everyone involved in ensuring her safe return.
